Here’s to finding the beauty in daily life… even chores.

I’ve learned that while washing dishes, some may dream of throwing out all their earthly goods, challenging global warming and rebelling by using all paper plates forever. While I can’t claim to have never thought that, I mostly just look at my plants by my sink while washing dishes. And this is one of them. It truly is a “Lucky” Bamboo because it’s still alive. Plants in my care must be hearty, as only the strong survive. Probably also true of my hearty family who often let me paint instead of doing dishes. I guess I’m the lucky one, even when I have to do the washing up.
