Hand cut and painted wooden teacher pencil, personalized with teacher name. This piece is 18″ wide from eraser to pencil tip with both sides painted. Front has name on it, back is painted as a pencil color and includes a hanger.  Could be used for students, office staff, homeschool and more. Each sign is cut from pine, sanded and hand painted in our studio. No vinyl is used, the lettering is done by hand and can be done in requested styles. The wooden pencil sign is coated with a clear and durable varnish, making it the piece able to stand up to use in a classroom. (Ahem, little hands with little finger prints that might need to be wiped off?) Hand made in southern Iowa by a sweet and salty couple that have been married for 19 years and still like doing things together!

The sign is made as a yellow pencil, with a black tip and pink eraser as a default. This can be made in any color or your school colors. For custom requests, please put in order comments:

We use natural wood when creating this piece, and each piece is different. We make every effort to select the “prettiest” pieces, and do not use wood with faults that would effect the quality of your piece. Knots are a natural part of wood, and we cannot control placement of knots.
